ICM has released the Zil-131 in a huge number if roles and finishes and here we get a Ukrainian offering. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia has meant that Ukraine has been forced to utilise many vehicles for roles they were not intended for and so we get a  Zil-131 with DshkMd and Crew. Then truck has been tackled many times and is generally accurate to the best of my knowledge.

The moulds look to be holding up very well and no moulding issues appear to be present beyond some seam lines which we should all be accustomed to. The model does have rubber tyres and I know some do not like these. The DshkMd machine Gun is an impressive weapon that I have found complex to build in some cases but here everything seems good. The figures have been very well tackled as is common for ICM and the uniforms due to supply from several sources cannot be described as accurate due to wearing what is supplied and in some cases what has been scrounged.

A very nice inclusion here is a sprue of personal weapons that means some very personal builds are in the offing and I look forward to what is offered by modellers. The decals offered include the digital camouflage but I would suggest these are used for masking and spraying due to it resulting in a more realistic finish but to each their own.
