Red Army NCO with flags controlling traffic

Introduction :

During World War II, Red Army Traffic Controllers were mostly women and many companies produced female traffic controller figures in 1/35 scale. BRAVO/6 released B6-35152 , a Soviet male traffic controller that can make difference in WW II scenes.

Review :

Figure is served  in standard BRAVO*6 cardboard box with a photo of the painted figure in front cover. Body and other small parts are inserted into seperate zip-lock bags.

Sculpting and casting are nice, no mistakes and parts can be easily removed from sprues. There will be no need for a serious cleanwork.

Figure is sculpted by Vladimir Demchenko and cast in grey resin in 7 parts.

* Body : He wears Soviet army khaki color, cotton made traditional front-open shirt-tunic Gymnastiorka with stand collar and shoulder boards, half breech Sharovari trousers, cotton cloth leggings wrapped under knees and short boots. Leather belt, ammo pouches on the right side and shoulder crossed cloth satchel for the BN gasmask on the left side are cast on the body.

* Head : Facial features, moustache and cotton sidecap Pilotka tilted to the right are well defined.

* Right arm

* Left arm

* Flags - 2 pieces

* Mosin-Nagant rifle

Conclusion :

B6-35152 Red Army Traffic Controller is a useful figure sculpted in fine details and nicely cast that can be used in WW II Soviet dioramas and vignettes.

Thanks to Vladimir Demchenko for the review sample.
