MiniArt released a series of Omnibus models a while back and has now released a figure set to populate the models.

Review

This offering from MiniArt is supplied in one of their end opening cartons, there is a picture of the product on the front and assembly instructions on the back. The contents arrive in a sealed plastic bag, I am not a big fan of this packaging style as there is a risk of damage to the contents due to the carton being easily crushed. This set provides 6 figures, you get 3 civilians, Police officer and and a omnibus driver and a clippy (bus conductor).

I like that all of the figures are contained within their own sprue segment, and an examination of the contents reveals no major moulding issues that I can detect. Looking at the clothing of the civilian individuals, I do not believe that the clothing could not be past off than the early 1900s as intended. The exception to that is the Police officer, as I do not believe that uniform change much between the early 1900s and the second world war. An examination of the clothing reveals some nice creases in the clothing that has a very natural look, plus the hand and facial features are of a good standard for injection moulded plastic.

Conclusion

This offering from MiniArt provides 6 nicely detailed figures to populate one of their omnibuses, and I particularly approve of the various styles of the clothing depicted. All we need now is soldiers to populate their army omnibus.
