The AMX Tracteur C was a super-heavy tank concept designed by the French company Ateliers de construction d'Issy-les-Moulineaux (AMX) in 1939 to break through Germany's heavily fortified Siegfried Line.
It was a direct competitor of the FCM F1 project. The initial design featured an incredibly long hull weighing an estimated 140 tons, utilizing an electrical transmission and a track suspension system derived from the Char B1. Its primary armament consisted of a powerful 105mm gun housed in a large forward turret, complemented by a smaller rear turret mounting a 47mm anti-tank gun.
To ensure its survivability during slow assaults, the vehicle was protected by 100mm of frontal hull armor and equipped with four 7.5mm machine guns for close-quarters defense. Although a second iteration was drafted in early 1940 with a rearranged centralized main turret and a 90mm gun, the French Army ultimately rejected the AMX Tracteur C in favor of the FCM F1.
Kit will feature cast texture for both turrets, all the hatches can be opened or closed and the weapons positioned.
