Review
Peko Publishing release another of their landscape titles looking generally at World War II vehicles, both destroyed and in use. Tom Cockle is the author of this hard backed release that offers 124 pages of high quality black and white period photographs. The text within the title is supplied all in English, with the photographs broken down into 6 sections these are:
Part 1 - Sturmgeschutz- Abteilung 202
Part 2 - Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf.E (Sd. Kfz. 181)
Part 3 - Lend-Lease Tanks
Part 4 - Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf.A to F (Sd.Kfz. 161)
Part 5 - Marder II (Sd.Kfz. 131)
Part 6 - Miscellaneous
Each of the photographs within the title have a good informative caption in English, and so you know exactly what is what. For me this title for the modeller is valuable in the finishing of a model as it enables you to replicate a specific vehicle at a specific time and place. It enables you see how a vehicle in the field collects dirt and rubbish and so allowing you to accurately replicate such details. So will also appreciate those special details that can be picked up from the photographs.
