Linden has a new figure of the Spanish Civil War

This figure was inspired by a well-known photograph from the opening days of the Spanish Civil War. Whether the original photograph captured a real moment of action or was posed for the camera is difficult to say — but it certainly created a memorable image.

No tunic this time — just a white vest, suspenders, ammunition pouches and the characteristic headgear of the Guardia de Asalto, with a Mauser and fixed bayonet.

A small historical moment — posed or not — that has survived for ninety years.
