I was drawn to these guys due to the kneeling figure placing a mine, specifically a Schrapnellmine 35 or S-Mine 44, and his buddy keeping an eye out for unwanted allied attention. 

The pair work together really well so I got both. Speira were in contact promptly and answered questions directly. These two are 3D scanned then sharpened up with 3D sculpt before 3D printed.

The mine being planted is a bouncing Betty type, see image of real thing below (not mine), these engineers wear the standard pack and pouches of sturmpioniere (also below), with saw, breadbag, bayonet, and canteen. 

Uniform is standard for mid to late war and are rendered exceptionally well in 3D, the images do not do the resin justice.

This is how the figures arrived, there is no clean up. About the only part that will need any work is a bit of resin at the left heel of the kneeling figure connecting to his butt. You wouldn't notice it if it weren't mentioned.

The resin is hard without being brittle, the detail is crisp and accurate, and the poses are natural, with one complimenting the other. About the only thing I could critique is that the kneeling figure lacks a side arm, whereas the standing figure has his Kar 98 rifle. Not a deal breaker, I have a spare rifle on hand.
