A reprint of a 1943 obscure book, ‘Sommer 1943’, which focused on the campaigns of Kursk and the Mius for the men of the Totenkopf Division.

The book was written by the war correspondents that accompanied the men of Totenkopf in those days and it has a ‘being there’ feel to the text.

This edition is bi-lingual, English and German languages, and comes with a Foreword from Werner Volkner who was with them during that time frame.
