Assembly - minor difficulties in joining the body parts..most of the tracks were slightly offset. I had to grind each one..
Also in this set, Zvezda completely ignored the license plates and taillights...
There was an idea to make the engine doors open..but I was afraid to screw it up..for the first time I used a white wash in the case .. quite a good result, as for me...plus, it turned out to be convenient to fill in the license plate with it..
From the improvements:
-I tried to depict the crumpled leather upholstery of the seats made of foil
-an awning made of paper
-arcs for an awning made of photo etching scraps
-cable - thick nylon thread
-sticks in front - twigs
-ropes for sticks, cans - from the wiring from the headphones
-icicles, snow - stretched transparent gate, soda
- I tried to make streaks of water - on the sides, inside from the flask.
- replaced the overall "mustache". from a string
-antenna from the gate
- helmets - from some stocks
-added numbers (bought a ready-made set of photo-etched numbers)
- added taillights - convoy fire on the left, and reflector on the right. They just weren't in the set. (I took pictures from old tanks)
- replaced the machine gun. There was an mg42 in the set. for these modifications (early ones) They also put on mg34
-twisting the tarpaulin on board - from a glove
