DESCRIPTION:
The Scammell Pioneer began production in Great Britain in 1927 as a 6x4 off-road heavy truck.
From 1935 under the designation R100 it was used by the British Army as a heavy artillery tractor.
It was also equipped with a 3 ton crane and named as SV1S it was used as a recovery vehicle truck.
And finally from 1937 onwards a 36 ft (11 m) trailer was added and the Scammell Pioneer TRCU20 was used as tank transport, especially in North Africa.
During the first part of the Second World War the British built more than 5000 Crusader tanks, which contributed to the first Allied victories, especially in North Africa.
Different versions were made that mounted different turrets, different weapons, and different armor.
This kit includes the tank transport version as well as a Crusader MKII tank.
The kit includes all the gray resin printed parts necessary to assemble the vehicle as seen in the images (Assembly required, paint and glue not included).
