This 17th issue is about detailing and displaying Military Vehicles. It includes a Vietnam War M113 ACAV diorama by Martin Hughes in 36 pages, instead of the usual 24, and with about 100 pictures , 88 of which are step-by-step or in-progress sequences, with a very detailed text.

The author reveals all his techniques and approaches for how to make an interesting and realistic diorama. He divided the whole work into six parts so the reader will follow the creation and design sequence easier.
