A fantastic build of this Russian T-34/85 1945 is by modelling friend Adam Wilder  

This model depicts a Russian T-34/85 with retrofitted German Panzer IV Thoma shields. I had wanted to construct this T-34 for years. I felt that the flimsy sand yellow shields would contrast nicely with the darker green finish of the T-34. The model is from DML with Aber photo-etch. The resin turret is a copy I had on hand of a Factory No. 112 “alternative” type turret. The actual black and white photo in this gallery is the only T-34 I have seen with this particular type of modification. This model is the focus of a DVD entitled, “Dealing with Photoeatch”.
