RT-Diorama expands its Swift Vegetation series with three highly detailed 1/35 scale poplar trees, designed to recreate the characteristic tall silhouettes found along European roads, canals, fields and village approaches.
The new series consists of three individually designed trees:

Each model is produced entirely using high-resolution SLA printing. Every branch, fine twig and individual leaf is already integrated into the design.
The result is a highly detailed, fully three-dimensional crown without the need to construct wire armatures, attach individual branches or apply generic foliage by hand.
🌿 THREE UNIQUE DESIGNS – NOT ONE TREE RESCALED
The three poplars are not simply different-sized versions of the same digital model.
Every tree features its own trunk, proportions, branching structure and irregular crown. This allows the models to be placed together without creating the repetitive appearance often associated with mass-produced miniature vegetation.
The different heights create a natural visual hierarchy and reproduce the characteristic rhythm of poplar-lined roads, canals and field boundaries.
They are particularly suitable for:
- WWII dioramas set in Normandy and Western Europe
- European rural roads and farm tracks
- Canals, riversides and drainage routes
- Field boundaries and village approaches

Their tall, narrow crowns introduce impressive vertical elements without taking up excessive space on the base. They can frame vehicles and buildings, guide the viewer through a composition or become the dominant natural feature of the scene.
⚡ DETAILED TREES WITHOUT DAYS OF MANUAL CONSTRUCTION
Despite their size and complexity, the trees are engineered for quick preparation.
Poplar Tree No.1 stands approximately 200 mm tall and is supplied as a largely pre-assembled tree. A small bonus shrub is also included.
Poplar Tree No.2 reaches approximately 300 mm and is divided into two main sections.
The imposing Poplar Tree No.3 stands approximately 400 mm tall and is supplied in three main sections for protected transport and convenient preparation.
The larger models use a quick-connect construction. After removing the supports and completing basic cleanup, the sections can be assembled, primed and painted.
Depending on the chosen painting method, the trees can become scene-ready in approximately 30–60 minutes.
No wire armatures. No handmade branches. No separate foliage application.
🎨 DESIGNED FOR SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE PAINTING
The deeply modelled branches, leaves and bark textures make the trees suitable for efficient airbrush and drybrushing techniques.
A dark primer followed by progressively lighter foliage tones quickly emphasizes the individual leaves and creates natural depth throughout the crown. The trunks can be finished using washes and drybrushing to highlight the sculpted bark structure.
Subtle differences in green, yellow or brown can be used to create summer, late-summer or early-autumn variations.
