1:16 Sd.Kfz.234 Puma Tool & Detail Upgrade set
This 3D printed set provides a complete upgrade of the stowed tools which are corrected and highly detailed and come with all the tool clasps in position ready to be installed once they are cleaned up. The set also includes a pair of our superb fire extinguishers and our Bosch headlamps with the Puma-specific lamp brackets as well as a replacement horn. Both types of jack are included and again the level of detail far exceeds the kit parts and both are stowed on their racks ready to fit. Moving to the turret we have included a new T.Rbl.F3 periscope cover which has details missing from the very simple kit version and we also have a replacement insert for the turret ventilator/extractor. In order to fit this you will need to drill out the moulded grille in the turret roof then simply plug in the new one from the inside of the turret. It’s a simple correction that greatly improves the look of this detail and comes with integral mesh screen. Lastly we have included a pair of new antenna bases for the turret and hull positions.
1:16 Sd.Kfz. 234 Puma Muzzle brake
3D printed corrected muzzle brake for the Das Werk kit which has all the detail missing from the incredibly basic kit part.
1:16 Sd.Kfz. 234 Puma 50mm Ammunition box
Seen used as fender stowage on some vehicles this is the box used to carry the 50mm ammunition used by the Puma. This detailed 3D printed set provides one ammunition box.
1:16 Sd.Kfz. 234 Puma Eight Wheel Sets
Regrettably the Das Werk kit tires are the wrong pattern for the Puma which was issued with civilian tread pattern tires which did not stand up well to the demands of service which lead to tires being replaced and the mix of patterns that is so characteristic of the Puma in action. It is frequently difficult to identify exactly which tread patterns are used on certain vehicles due to poor photos, moving wheels or mud but we have selected three identifiable examples and offering these as an 8 wheel pack to allow you to recreate these examples in a more cost-conscious package. If you prefer to create your own mix of wheel patterns we have a range of 7 different tread patterns to choose from sold in packs of 2 wheels. We also have these patterns available as spare wheels which are sold individually.
The wheels are printed as a single piece and you simply need to shorten the kit axel parts G25/26 by 2mm to fit the new wheels which are weighted.
16186 1:16 Sd.Kfz. 234 Puma Corrected Turret Hatch set
This 3D printed set gives you both turret hatches with the correct scale thickness and all the details missing from the kit ones. The periscopes are accurately reproduced with their forward and backward facing lenses (the kit only has forward facing). The hatch hinge is correctly rendered with spring details, the locking handles are replicated along with the ball baring race and the uniquely soft head pad that is a feature of the Puma hatch. Each hatch is printed in two parts, the periscopes being separate and you simply need to fit the kit periscope cover Das Werk Part F17 to the outside.
16177 & 16178 1:16 Sd.Kfz.234 Puma Empty Jerrycan Racks
Two empty racks for the fender-mounted jerrycans which are frequently removed in combat photos leaving the empty metal framed rack. The rack is accurately reproduced with varying strap positions for a natural appearance and designed for those who want to depict absent cans. Set A and Set B provide different strap arrangements to allow you to mix thing up on your model. Note that these 3D printed parts are quite delicate so considerable care is needed when removing the print supports.
16179 1:16 Sd.Kfz.234 Puma Stowed Jerrycan Racks
Set of 6 3D printed stowed Jerrycans, each printed as a single piece for a great result with minimal fuss. The set comprises 6 different cans from different manufacturers, one being a water can and one mounted face down so the lettering on the can is not visible. The racks and their straps are accurately reproduced with the correct gaps where the metal straps pivot.
16176 1:16 Sd.Kfz.234 Puma Smoke Grenades
Set of two 3D printed smoke grenade racks for the Sd.Kfz. 234 Puma 8 Rad Armoured Car. The set contains six of both empty and loaded smoke grenades so that you can model them completely empty, fully loaded or a mix of both.
