Within the range of airbrush paints from Kaleido, a brand of the Gaahleri group, we find the translucent series (Clear Colors). Their main use is for painting transparent parts because even when applied in several layers, they do not opacify the part.

The set comes in a long  box containing 12 x 20 ml bottles, plus two more  of thinner and cleaner.

The colours cover all the basic shades, including white. These are acrylic paints and intended for airbrush use.

The bottles have a ball inside to aid shaking and feature a dispenser nozzle at the tip.

Once shaken, I have used them straight from the bottle in the airbrush. They spray on smoothly, and appear to be quite diluted, so for transparent parts it is not necessary to thin them further. They do not clog the airbrush and have a light smell, not disturbing and quickly gone.

Adhesion to unprepared surfaces is excellent; it withstands rubbing with a finger and harshly removing Tamiya masking tape without  being affected at all.

The finish is glossy and very smooth, yet transparent.

Additionally, they can be used to alter the shade of a base colour, for which it is advisable to add some thinner. In a quick test on white, a light coat is sufficient, as seen with the blue on the left-hand side. The rest have two,  or even more coats on the inner section, where you can see they have already darkened considerably.

At the bottom, there is a test of dusting using the brown shade.

Conclusion.

A set of various colours that fulfils its purpose of tinting transparent parts and which can also be used for colored parts in other ways. They are very easy to airbrush and durable once dry.
