T34-76 Mod.42 TAMIYA 1/35
Hi Pals,
I'm calling this model finished, and here are the usual photos to see how it looks off the workbench.
Obviously, this is a humble, inexpensive, and older kit, not meant to compete with the latest releases or those enhanced with add-ons, but I think with some care and attention, a good result can be achieved. I managed to resist the temptation to add third-party extras that would have cost the same or more than the kit itself. Perhaps it's wiser to buy a more expensive, and supposedly better, kit from the start, even with a larger outlay.
This one, with some extras from spare parts boxes and various wires and cables, has improved a bit, I think, at a reasonable cost—one of the objectives, the other being to do the model justice.
A very pleasant kit to build and easy to adjust, with good instructions, few parts—in short, typical Tamiya.
I've included some photos of real vehicles, which I used as inspiration for the handles that dot the tank.
