Master offers another version of the 1/35 machine gun M1919 Browning 30-calibre, this time with an M20 anti-aircraft mount, or D7431 cradle. The reference for this variant is GM-35-087.
As usual with Master, several options are available when building the set. In this case, you can choose between two mountings:
- The D7431 cradle with short pintle, used on M24/M25 pedestal mounts for trucks, M1917A1 ground tripod and M29 skate mount (M2/M4/M4A1 halftracks, M3A1 scout car).
- The M20 elevator bracket mount with long pintle (D34914 cradle), used on M2A4 light tank, M3/M3A1/M3A3 and M5/M5A1(early) light tanks STUART
And there are three types of ammunition boxes:
- Pre-war M1917A1, a wooden ammunition box.
- Tall box version D34893.
- World War II M1 version.
All three can be presented closed or open with the ammunition belt loaded. A short piece of used belt with tab is also included, so as decals for the M1 box.
The barrel and cooling jacket are turned brass, as are the pin for the cradle and cocking handle.
These brass parts are finely detailed, with perfectly defined and aligned holes of the cooling jacket.
The cocking handle is one of the smallest parts I have seen, and despite its size, it has both the correct tear shape and hollow head. Wisely, two are included, as it is very easy to lose.
The rest of the parts are 3D printed. The quality of them is again excellent, with great definition and detail. They come on the printing base and are protected by posts on the sides.
Removing them from the support trees is fairly straightforward, although care must be taken, especially with the thinner and more delicate parts. Once the options have been decided, assembly is fairly simple and the instructions are clear. The fit is very good, both for the 3D-printed parts and those made of brass.

Another fine piece of equipment by Master, with excellent detail and several options to choose from when building, so it can fit a variety of vehicles.
