Master's GM-35-096 is a set of width indicators for German vehicles. Many German wheeled and semi-tracked vehicles from World War II were equipped with these indicators, that allowed the driver to better estimate the width of the vehicle when circulating in narrow roads.
Due to their thinness, they are usually poorly reproduced in plastic models, being too thick and out of scale. Master's set solves this problem with thin brass rods with the ball at the end already attached, ready to use.
There are four of them, enough for one vehicle -or two if it only carried the front ones. The bases are 3D printed and hollow so that the rod can be inserted. The set also includes two rear-view mirrors, which were often placed on these poles, also 3D printed.
The level of detail is very good, with the bases having fixing screws on the disc and the rear-view mirrors having adjustment nuts. The rods fit very well into both the bases and the mirrors, sliding in easily but fitting tight.
As they are made of brass, the rods can be easily bent to represent some models that were angled. They can also be cut to the required length, as not all vehicles had them the same.
In short, a simple set that greatly improves the appearance of a model, adjusting these very visible elements to scale.
