Personally I can't believe that after all those M1 series kits released, no one has come across 1/35 M1 105mm yet (of course, except that old ones). It is indeed an interesting subject as an early version of one of the most famous 3rd generation MBTs in the late cold war era with intriguing camo schemes. Seriously, no one!!!

I think Panda has or is coming out with an M1 initial.
Gary

Panda did both the main variants of the 105mm armed M1, the M1 slick and the M1IP.Since the M1IP kit includes both turrets you can also do a later updated slick M1 105mm with bustle rack.

Really amazes me how many wishes have come true including the Bergepanther meme. Sadly there are no new Italian WW2 armor kits on the horizon.

I would like to see Takom or Afv-club sneak in a slick M60 (the round turret one) and with other companies finally going into the non-feline panzers my only big desire would be a complete line-up of new M3 light tanks. Tamiya made a good start -- still a few more guys.

Like a trip through the wayback machine, this thread is a reminder of how good we have it.
Lots and lots of stuff on the first few pages already released in plastic. Even some of the more esoteric stuff.

Fun thread.

The Panda M1 has been out for two years now (Dec '17) and was reviewed here: Panda M1 review

The M1 IP came out about 6 months later (about June '18). Here is some info on it and a review.

But a M1IP with interior would be good and a M60 series with interior also.

Jeez. Marie, we can't even get a gun breech in any of the new Sherman kits with that huge commander's hatch.

I'd love an M1 or M60A3 with an interior so I could model the interior set up with all the gear shoved into every crevice.

You could always use the interior from the Rye Field M1A1/A2 and backdate it into the Panda M1 or M1 IP.

Hontest John and/or M-56. Please.

With the Honest John launcher system on a truck, I think that gives you a good start for a ten ton wrecker! That's a kit we really need! If memory is good, I think there were two slightly different trucks used. I have one twenty minutes south of me

I would like to see a 1/35 Opel Omnibus from a major manufacturer like Tamiya, Hobby Boss, etc. The Roden kits leaves a lot to be desired.

Those seem kind of odd choices. Both Bronco and AFV Club do the M24 and Tasca/Asuka do the M4A1 both small and now large hatch versions.

Alpine:

Panzergrenadiers from Panzergrenadier Regiment 125 Normandy 1944.
Zeltbahns, sumpfmuster smocks, ankle boots and Gewehr 41's. An action scene and idle scene.

Waffen SS Panzergrenadiers in Bavaria 1945. M44 uniforms, SS Zeltbahns, Stg.44's and late war gear. An action scene.

Whoever would do it best in styrene:

The U304(f) (Unic P107) French Halftracks the German 21st Panzer Division modified and used in Normandy. SPW, 7.5cm Pak, Flak and pioneer variants.

Meng or Takom:

Pz.kpfw.IV Ausf. H mid production with zimm. Both an interior and "blitz" set.

Dragon:

I miss the diorama scene figure sets from around 2002-2010. With the awesome Ron Volstad artwork that was so inspiring. Those were great.

I would like to see a Tamiya Leopard 2A4, or a Rye Field Model 2A4 with full interior.

You*re NOT alone out there ... a Tamiya Leo 2A4 would probably have the right balance of detail and parts with still enough room to take the kit a step or two further.

Cheers

A dim possibility - Bedford MWD (better known as a Pneumonia wagon)

I mean like, so many positive waves:

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/news/34253

"Gecko Models presents a new series of British Bedford MW 15cwt trucks, the first of which is this MWC water bowser.... and Gecko will be releasing several of its variants."
