Hi;

I Don't know anything about accuracy, But trumpy; T-80b was A great kit to build. When I finished the kit, it looked every bit like A T-80 ! Even the 500+ two part tracks were fun to build. The only thing that I was not really happy with were the retaing straps for the fuel pannier's and the storage boxes.

CHEERS; MIKE.

Trumpeter T-80B is a good kit like Mike said.

T-80BV is sort of a frankenstein. You can make, OOB, a version that is only used by the Ukrainian Army. Russian T-80BV do not have the 16mm glacis plate, the extra armor was incorporated into the hull and the design changed (the drivers periscope has 2 "cheeks" now). Having looked through 100's of pictures, there are NO T-80B with the additional glacis plate that received the K-1 ERA. ONLY the Ukrainian Army rebuild/refurbish from 2015/16. The kit builds as well as the T-80B, with a few more parts for the ERA.

T-80BVD - a kit of a single vehicle made in Ukraine as a update to replace the T-80B gas turbine with a diesel engine. No sales so only 1 vehicle (the demonstrator) was built. Do not know about how the kit builds or accuracy.

Have not seen the Ukraine T-84 kit yet (this is the welded T-84 turret based on the cast T-80U turret on the T-80UD hull).
