Hello every one and to "BlackWater and Spiderfrommars" thanks for the comments and here's some rear deck or rear hull work.

An some of my start on the LIC type Cupola.

Now these photos are three days old as I have most of the cupola built and a lot more front and rear hull work done. I'll let you all sit on these photos for a short wile.

Hay W.J. I think you engine vent are just fine. I only did my vents in a little different looking way so I would not look as if I'm copying your work. Like your Achzarit I wanted a different look to my achzarit. That's why I'm build one with that RCWS and the centurion wheels.

Well I'm still working on laying each vent lid one by one. An it's taking some time, so I jump to doing othere things on the hull like the wheels.

I have more to come...

Hello every one and thanks for your comments. Well here's your new surpris for the new year. I came up with a way to have that silver looking tub around my copper wire loops.

Sorry it's taking so long but this thing just has a lot of fine detail to add.

Hay any one want to know how I made those small looking tubes over my copper wire loops. Click on my Tutoral link: Making Simulated Loop mounts
This is what I was asking BlackWater about on his Achzarit project. Well now any one can use this it you want.

Let my know what you all think about my solution.

I'm not going to build the Pototype any more or mix parts. As If I mix the rear section of the Prototype with that of the APC in the first photo. I don't thing any one will be interested in my project as what if any more. SO I'm going to build just what I see in the first photo I posted to start this build. An I found a photo of the othere side.
Now about the use of LIC-Low Intensity Conflict equipment I ment the letters LIC to point out the protective cupola and the RCWS-Remote Control Weapons System. Both use on the production Achzarit T-54-55 APC.

You said: And... still, I do not understand if you're gonna mix the proto with LIC.

Now if it's cool with you and othere I'll keep the Prototpy's rear grille and louvers-"Large box shape". And keep building the APC Fron end, seen in my first photo.

You said: Proto is what it is. There are no RCWS or LIC features on it...

Now remember I started this build so I would not have to use those hole filled screens. As I have no Iead of were I would get them othere that a Eduard PE set. So let me know what you think? So keep the ptoto's rear section, or build the production rear section?

The Achzarit has been in isreali service since the mid 80s early production models had the wheels and engine form the T-55 then the later the engine was replaced with the same engine that is used in the M-109

Now after looking over the front of the prototype achzarit. Man that thing look's ugly. I don't like the front of it but I do like the rear of it. So one thing I could do is build my own prototype., but that silly and unrealistic. So if I can find some of the holded screan like Blackwater used. I'll rebuild the rear of my IFV.
But for now I hold off on doing any work to that section.
Now I'm still going to work on the front:Right and Left. An yes this mean adding small detailed items like the RCWS MG and LIC protective cupola. That way I can keep working on this project.

Hay dose any one have a photo of the opossite side of my first photo? It would show me just the right shape to build and also show me it that holded screan is used. As it's not used on the left side shown in the first photo.

If you dont want to scratch build it you can alwats get the full resin kit of of the early production model of it from legend

Yeah "richtlv3"-(Rich) if it's ok that I call you that?. I have bean pulled away from this project to mini times. An now I'm going to get this baby finished! Thanks for the comments and looking in.

An "tanknick22" I'm going to finish this build. An this version is no longer classified as a prototype. This version has bean used in combat operations., so I'm going to keep on building this version.

Now when it comes to witch comflict., I'll go with wich ever photos has the best shot of it.

Very nice model Captin, Your scratch build skills are amazing:)
I'm also finished my Achzarit from Legend few years ago.

Nick, from what I know, Achzarit never had an engine from T-55 - original engine and transmission are to big, and was replaced by powerpack which including General Motors 8V-71 TTA- the same as in M109 (650 hp in Mk.1,)engine and Allison XTG-411-4 transmission. Achzarit Mk.2 have improved powerpack- General Motors 8V-92TA / DDC III (850 hp) engine and Allison XTG-411-5A transmission.

Best regards from Poland

Thank's "Barthass" An thanks for pointing out that I'm building the Achzarit Mk 2.
It would be cool if I would build the engine to display with my APC.

Here's some work from to day.

I was thinking of covering the other side but seeing that it's not covered and most of the photos I have of it. I'm not going to cover mine.
