The Soviet MT-LB multipurpose armored tracked tractor was developed and launched in the mid-1960s. Initially produced at Kharkiv Tractor Plant, production was later expanded to Murom and the Rubtsovsk branch of UVZ. In military service, the MT-LB was nicknamed "Motolyga." This multipurpose vehicle is used to transport personnel and cargo, as an artillery tractor, and as a platform for various weapons and equipment. In civilian service, it is used as an all-terrain vehicle and a tractor. Over the years, more than 55,000 MT-LBs have been produced, serving in dozens of countries worldwide.
