U.S. Soldiers in winter clothing posed to open door and carrying / loading cargo.

PLA Editions, well known with their modelling, reference and diorama books and magazines now started a fresh line as Dioramag Figures ,bringing market new highly detailed 3D printed figures designed to capture everyday moments and bring storytelling into your scenes.

The first releases are in 1/35 scale U.S.Soldiers wearing fishtail parkas posed next to an utility pick up.

Company already releases 2 kits.

REF.001 - U.S.Soldier with fishtail parka (Opening door)

REF.002 - U.S.Soldier with fishtail parka (Loading cargo)

Figures come in rectangular transparent boxes labeled with company logo and figures info stickers. Inside the boxes, body part and heads are inserted seperate ziplock bags.  Parts are served with 3D supporters which are well placed, quite thin and easy to remove without damaging the details.

Both figures wear trousers with trotters inserted into black leather combat boots and M51 or M65 fishtail parkas having a hood with a fur or wool trim. Body proportions, poses, wrinkles and cloth folds of the trousers and parka, small details like flap pocket covers, nameplate on right breast, waist string, front opening and trim on hood are all well defined. Neck parts are hollowed for easy fit of heads.

Each figure comes in 3 head options ; bare head, head wearing M1 helmet with cover and head wearing PASGT helmet with cover. It makes the figures suitable for different eras. I check the heads carefully and really appreciated that all 6 heads had different faces.

Conclusion :

They look well designed and nice 3D printed high quality static posed figures that can be used in many different scenes and different time periods.

I hope it doesn't take too long  for Dioramag to design and release new figures.

Thanks to Pere Pla for the review samples.

Painted versions of the figures by Jose M.Illa are added below.
