Tet, 1968: Cholon-- the ARVN Stand and Fight

Bill Cross's build of the B&L Model kit showing ARVN soldiers fighting during the Tet 1968 Offensive.

This interpretation of fighting in the Cholon suburbs of Saigon during the Tet Offensive 1968 won a Silver Medal at the Armorcon model show October 14, 2023 in Middlebury, CT. The base kit and ARVN figures are from B&L Models. The dead Viet Cong is from another maker. The M-16s are from Eduard. The groundwork is 100 grit sandpaper to recreate asphalt.

The ARVN figure on the left is shown in the moment of death as a bullet has pierced his helmet.
