Normandy Retreat June 1944

This is a diorama featuring the Tamiya Panzer IV Ausf H escaping from a strafing run by staying off the main roads and in the process busting its left track trying to reverse. The crew have escaped and are taking cover as the junior tankman is trying to get fire-support.

This is a diorama featuring the Tamiya Panzer IV Ausf H. It does not provide the sideskirts which were scratchbuilt. The figures are repositioned from the spares box and the Dorette field radio is scratchbuilt. The officers are taking cover in the river bed which is clear resin. I wanted to model an explosion which is acrylic paste so it could look like a strafing diorama I had done earlier in 1/144.
