M46 Patton TAKOM 1/35, "Korea's Badass" *FINISHED*

Hi Pals,
Here are the photos of the finished model. Being a brand like Takom, it's high quality, with few fit issues, plenty of detail, and it even comes with two complete sets of tracks, one with metal treads and the other with rubber treads. And if that weren't enough, they're very easy to assemble.
The turret includes a texture, which I found adequate. I didn't add Mr. Surfacer or anything like that; it's another thing that makes the model easier to build.
Another option is that you can choose to make the gun mantlet with or without a canvas cover, more parts included in the kit for the same price...lol
I added a few small details that weren't included in the kit, like the spotlight cables, which I definitely wanted to add. Since the connectors were included, it wasn't too difficult, although getting it to stay securely attached to the gun barrel was tricky, as it's very fragile and the parts are tiny with somewhat vague instructions.

I opted for a more understated scheme, as I was tempted to go with the Tiger livery, but I didn't think I'd like the final result, so it was too much effort to have to redo all the work again... With a few small details from the spares box, like helmets, duffel bags, and a chain, I've tried to give the model a bit of personality without overloading it with equipment.
The final look is that of a used vehicle, but not completely battered, trying to get closer to the appearance of a real vehicle, but with some artistic license to make it more visually interesting.
A recommended kit for anyone interested in the Korean War, and with easy upgrade possibilities (it already includes two sets of tracks and two mantlets).
I hope you like it.

Thanks so much for watching and commenting as always.

Cheers,

Francis 👍
