Review

This is an unusual release from MiniArt as it is provided in 1/48th scale, but I am sure fans of the scale will be pleased and some of the aircraft modellers. As usual I do not rate the end opening card carton the product arrives in as they are easily damaged. The moulding quality is good and there are no major issues that I could see, but I would like to see MiniArt start including photo etched slings for the weapons and decals for insignia as they have more than proved themselves capable of this.

The figures are relaxed as regards posture and so a very realistic offering when not fighting. Uniform detail looks good but clean up of minor panel lines will be needed to obtain the best result. Hand and facial detail is ok but not the best I have seen in this scale; with that said those who are good when it comes to painting will be able to lift the offering to a high standard. A nice inclusion here is the fuel drums and jerry cans as they are items that are really useful.
