Introduction :
M14 is a battle rifle introduced in 1959 as a replacement for the M1 Garand. It is described as a lightweight, air-cooled, gas-operated,magazine-fed, shoulder weapon firing 7.62 ammunition. It is designed primarily for semi automatic fire and has a selector switch that allows for fully-automatic fire. It was used for U.S. Army and Marine Corps basic and advanced individual training, and was the standard issue infantry rifle during Vietnam War until replaced by the in 1967, though combat engineer units kept them several years longer. It remains in limited front line service with the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard, and is also used as a ceremonial weapon. The M14 also provides the basis for the M21 and M25 sniper rifles.
B6-35334 includes 4 rifles served as seperate sprues. Rifles are marked as A, B and C.
First two are rifles with solid upper handguards ; A - with magazine and B - without magazine but hollowed out magazine well. C - has a slotted/vented fiberglass upper handguard.
