This first release, with early Bedford OY features and a wooden body, will be followed in due course by a model which has the features seen on later OYs together with a steel body. These models carry on the commitment to detail, based on personal observation and knowledge and official documentation, shown in Gecko’s Bedford MW series.
This early OY release provides four markings options appropriate to the vehicle primarily based on known IWM photos. All the census numbers for these releases are either confirmed or chosen (where not or only partially visible) from the official “Chilwell list” of B vehicle census numbers.
