K2 Black Panther

Jason Yu shares with us some images of his Academy K2 Black Panther in 1/35th scale using the Academy offering of the vehicle. Jason feels that the quality of the base model is very good on the whole, but the lack of clear parts being its only real weakness in his opinion. Due to this Jason made the clear parts of the CITV and the gunner's sight himself and also made some changes and added some details to the kit, to make it look different. The model has been further improved with Voyager PE parts and some bits and pieces from the MKI design, also used was a metal barrel and decals from DEF Model. The T158 tracks are from RFM which Jason thinks are the best T158 tracks on the market. The model was painted with Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, washed with Tamiya enamels and weathered with MIG pigments.
