historyThe MiG-21 was the world's most widely produced supersonic fighter aircraft. It was exported to the Warsaw Pact nations and many others both in the Soviet sphere if influence and many unalligned as well. It was updated and modernised several times, and while it is getting long in the tooth, it still provides good service.
The Polish Air Force 3.ELT (Eskadra Lotnictwa Taktycznego) painted this aircraft to commemorate the squadron's 45th Anniversary.
The modelThe kit is a well known Academy product improved with three Wolfpack Design sets: cockpit, wheel bays and fuselage spine with vertical stabilizer. There were some challenging fit problems to overcome.
