I started building models in 1971 when I was 6. My first model was a 1/32 P-40 Warhawk. Revell I believe. From there I moved onto the standard cars, Apollo spacecraft, and other kid orientated kits. I don't know what got me started on Armor. I must have seen a Monogram tank kit one day and said "Mom...

These look really interesting. All seem very well made and their website shows a really nice range of colors. Thanks for the intro.

Interesting stuff. Very specific, of course, but for the right diorama they look very promising.

The sandbags are snus (or snuff) portion bags! I doubt they are actually filled with tobacco, but I'm certain the packaging process is the same. Portion snus actually works just as well since if you wet the bag with water and let it dry, it takes on a nice texture that works quite well for this. You just need to trim off the excess from the ends, and they look quite good. Being a nicotinist myself, I'm on the fence here - on one hand, using snus bags as sand bags would be a healthy alternative, on the other hand, that would also be a terrible waste of tobacco...

I have a feeling since they tell you to use wood glue that the internal bits are sawdust/wood particles.

LOL, Kojako I was just going to say they look like my snuff packs. Maybe I'll save the used ones to use. ;0

Great idea, Grumps! I might have to take up the habit, though I've grown to love vaping . . .

Once I've gotten by fortune some dozen of Juweela 1/35 red bricks of the "Reichsformat" (imperial size), used in Germany from 1872 to the early 1950s, for testing. I can confirm the scaled size is perfect, the surface is like reality in scale... I am delighted! If all the other products are in a similar quality, Juweela is a benefit for all model- and dioramabuilders. Btw: Clicking at "HÄNDLER" at the Juweela-site, you will find the international list of distributors and dealers. Norbert
