On the improvised turret armor, what keeps the upper length of track in place? It doesn't seem to come into contact with the turret anywhere or have any weld points. Is it just resting on the lower track section? And wouldn't the track armor restrict or completely block vision from the two turret periscopes?

Very nice! I like that it isn't the standard ETO diorama. I feel that the Pacfic Theater needs to get some more love from the kit makers. But I could be a bit biased since I am a Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan....
