Tiger 1

  • TITLE40
This is the Trumpeter Tiger I late version in 1/72 representing Tiger 312 of PzAbt 505. It is my first vehicle since getting back in modeling after a twenty year break. Zimmerit is from an Eduard PE Set for the Hasegawa Kit, along with some PE from Eduard for grab rails, meshes, and the like. The exhaust guards are made from foil burnished around the kit parts. The log is from next door's clematis plant. The tow cables are from Excel.

The paints are Humbrol enamels. Weathering added using red and black chalk. Decals are the models own :)

This was a great learning experience as the base kit is so good. It made adding all the extra a pleasure.

Nice Tiger, JP. Especially considering the scale. It was an interesting project to follow in the forum and nice to see the final result as a feature. Thanks for sharing
