About Sean Emmott (Pilgrim)

Afternoon Pilgrim, Thruoghly enjoyed you dio. Fantastic. I really like the moss growing on the roof, must remember that myself. Where the roosters all from Tamiya? Looks like you built them up a little. Great work as I browsed through your phots. Am looking forward to seeing more in the future. bob

I've got to agree with Grumpy Old Man, your details really bring it to life. I like your color pallet as well, things sorta PoP! Your way ahead of me in skill, however, I couldn't help but notice in the photo that shows off the well best that the pulley for the well could use a little more love. I don't understand that white wash on the sides... That's only thing that really stands out in my old eyes. Wish I could do what you do, EasyOff

Thanks for the replies everyone. Some of the chickens are from the Tamiya set, the others are from Mk35. The Moss of the roof is fine flock. I applied PVA glue along the edges of tiles using a cocktail stick. Then the flock was sprinkled on and I scraped it off with my thumb against the grain of the rooftiles, this makes the flock catch on the edge of the tiles. The PVA dries a bit glossy, so you have to follow it up with a some Dullcote. Sean
