This is well done, my friend, indeed...I am just getting back into painting after a hiatus of almost 30 years...I've decided to concentrate on busts - soon I'll be buying my first figure since 1999 - as I said I've not picked up a brush since 1986...I'm impressed by both your work and the Andrea figure of the Imperial Guard Grenadier...the Grenadier should be part of every figure painter's collection/rerpertoire...the face has a great 'character....While the sculptor may provide the basis for such 'character' it is the painter who truly bings this quality to life!! I look forward to seeing more of your work!! It seems that since my beginning in the hobby back in the early/nid 1970s, non- American painters have taken the historical figure painting world by storm!!!
