Some of you may remember an old member here named sas....he went over to a site called www.totalmodel.com and put together an archive of just such pictures....he compiled it for years out of out of print books and sites on the internet to have it all in 1 place for us modellers....unfortunately he took some pictures off of a site run by people who own real 1:1 scale vehicles and post pictures of their work.....he thought this was great for modellers and brought said pictures to the model site......the web master of the vehicle site got upset and threatened legal action against the web master of the model site....and so......no more great resource for us modellers all in 1 place.
Having said that.......now you have to do the work.....it takes some time away from model building but if you go to www.dogpile.com or www.google.com and type in a request for what you are looking for.....for example I'm working on the new DUKW kit and did a search the other night for it......you get a lot of broken links and bad sites....but given some time you will find what you're looking for.....patience is the key.
In the meantime keep checking www.totalmodel.com as they say they will be reopening the archive but no one is sure what they've done to please the web master of the vehicle site....something about 1st born male child I think.
Good luck and happy searching!!!

Thanks, Roberto, but I do wish you would quit SHOUTING on the board. All caps seem hostile to many, though I have seen your posts enough to know you mean well.

Faust! Several good link there. You should start your own link page.

For everybody that still haven`t received it

I have posted a topic a couple of months ago where I said I have a (I believe) 16 or 20 paged link list made in word and It`s only 145 k. big
I got it from a friend and there are really an oustanding number of links on it from tanks to museums and other reference material
Every body who still haven`t got the list give me a PM with your E-mail or Just let me know in this thread
