This is called ''Lost''. Made some time ago, due for an airing, the Jeep is Tamiya with an Aber update set, and the building is the Townhouse Ruin from Great North Roads.

I can say that you're not lost, at all!
Looks great, speccially the ruined house, which is always a difficult scene to recreate!
Don't you think the white line is too white? Tone it down or dust it a little bit

Another lovely piece of work Vinnie. These GNR products are certainly very good, I must get some to have a play with.

Personally I think the white tape looks okay - assuming it is to cordon off a UXB or similar and has only recently been placed?

I do echo everyone else with regard to a 'How to' though!

Thanks for the comments guys. I'd love to do an article on this, but to tell the truth it's one I completed last year and I couldn't possibly remember everything! I do remember making a screw-up of the join between two of the walls though..... Something I've not repeated since. :-)

Wow Vinnie - thats Great! I like the tape idea, and the rubble is spot on!

Oh yes, very nice indeed. I am so impressed that the back of the dio is as good as the front. Do you at least remember what figure set that is? Did you modify them much. I was struck by the collar or scarf at the one standing figure near the front of the jeep. It has a 3D effect that not all figures have.

I think Spooky thought it was a church because of the cross thing at the end of the building.

Great job on the dio. Very original. I like the way that youve integrated everything so that nothing seems out of place. All the small details make it so realistic.

The figure set is I beleive the Yanks US Recon Group set. those 3 figs are included in it. I have one that i got off of ebay for $20.00, but other than that its OOP. I'm hoping to find another copy because the set is great. Its a shame that Yanks went under, because they produced some great Allied figures.

Rodger, it is indeed as Matt says, the Recon team from 'Yanks'. In the set I bought there were just these 3 figures. I had no idea that they had gone out of business though. Shame. I hope it had nothing to do with there stubborness to do only Allied figures?
The cross that made Spooky think it was church is actually used by buildes etc. to pull in walls that have 'bowed' out. They're heated up, so obviously expand, tightened by means of a screw thread, and then when they cool down and contract they 'pull' the wall back in.

Jon, er..........my garage is getting a bit full. There's no room in the house. Ideally I want to build a Summer house and have them on display shelves, but priority is Daughter's wedding, then a hoilday for Carol (and me!) and then the Summer house!
Martin, yeah.....an oldie. I first posted pics of this last year sometime but never got around to posting it as an On Display, and I wanted to post it before I posted 'The Big Shot' which I'm working on now.
