This is Dragon''s ''Ardennes'' Tiger II, the figures come with the kit but are available separately, with replacement heads from Hornet, the wall is from Great North Roads and there are a few scratch built bits and pieces. I hope you enjoy!

Vinnie you have done a wonderful job.the KT and figures are very well done.but the first thing that hit me was the mud,it looks a funny colour,maybe a bit more darkbrown.

Cool King there, Vinnie. I esp. like the damage on the front. There is a non penetrating hit on the front of the Jadgtiger at Aberdeen I put my whole fist in. Really makes you realize how thick the armor was on these things.

Did the kit come with all 8 German paras, both sets?

Shaun, yep. All eight figures. I found the original pic the figures were based on and had a go at fitting them all on in the same positions, but the hard plastic beat me!

Everythings beautiful, the dust and dirt on the Paras boots are very convincing and expertly convey the mood of the scene.
May I ask what heads were used ?
The b&w pic is right out of a WWII reference book, kudos.
The K.T. is also very, very impressive.
Any chance you can make some of the pics. in a sepia tone ?

Thanks Cheyenne. The heads are Hornet, but as I keep all my Hornet heads in one container I have no idea which sets they are from, sorry.

I really like this kitty. It's not overly rusty nor battered to the point that the fenders are hanging by a sliver of metal and I really like how you executed the shell splatter...very nice indeed. It's just well executed all the way around. Has good balance in my humble opinion. I enjoyed it very much, thanks for sharing it.

Vinnie, as usual, you did a top notch job on this. I love the shell damage to the front plate. The painting is exellent, and so is the weathering. My only nit-pic is the road, I think it needs something, like a grass strip in the middle, or some sand/gravel along the travel portion. Everything else is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

That looks superb and the worst thing of all is I was planning on buying a king tiger, and after seeing your model I now HAVE to buy one.

The figure poses look great and what's best is the way you've situated them they really don't distract the eye away from the tank. I also like the footprints, they really set the mud off.

It is a very nice diaorama and the hornet heads have great expressions and are skillfully painted. It is also refreshing to see a Koenig Tiger paitned in Dunkel Gelb instead of the interminable and boring camo options,
