Hate to say this, but a kit of the iraqi guntruck is out now for $25.00. The kit is made by, may be wrong but its one of these people, maquette, allan hobbies, zvezda. More than likely it is maquette that makes the kit. It is also out in 1/72 scale. Enjoy

Could you specify exactly what you are talking about Spades? I don't know of any Iraqui guntruck, especially from those manufacturers... may be you are talking about the GAZ-66 with the ZU-23-2? but that is Russian.

What do you think the odds are that your two pictures could be of the same truck? LOL

In fact I have only 3 pictures of these vehicles (the third one shows a wrecked truck) and each picture presents a different truck with its own differences (like the wheels rims or the armor plating around the AA gun...)
So the Iraqi had at least 3 such Iveco guntrucks...before the war.

Here's another variant (I think the AA gun is a ZPU-4 ) :

To say the truth, this project is on the back burner for quite a long time now, along with quite a lot of other things (maybe I should buy another cooker ...) Too many new releases, too many dio ideas, and only one pair of hands.... I recently came across a civilian 4x4 Iveco truck (the same chassis as the one on the pictures) and I took a lot of detail pics and some measures as well, so all hope is not lost
