The first ever campaign for young modelers on Armorama is now in the voting stages. All the entries are very well done. There is even a car! So please take a moment to check them out and select the one you feel is the best from the pictures available.

View the entries and more info

Thanks to all those who helped organize this first ever AGE Campaing. Exspecially Steve Keegan (WeWillHold), the campaign leader.

Cheers,
Jim

Jim, thanks for your hard work on setting up the vote page for the AGE Campaign, and for sponsoring the Campaign, along with Armorama's A Guard.

Special thanks go out to Dave Willet aka Animal who was the "brainchild" of this whole concept.

In addition, Rowan aka Merlin, the AGE technical officer, deserves a round of cyber beers as he provided a lot of assistance to me and the AGE participants when some "computer savy" was required.

Also a big help with this campaign were Drill Instructor's "Keenan”, (a.k.a. Shaun), “Warlock0322”, (a.k.a. Paul), “Jrnelson”, (a.k.a. Jeff) and “Animal”, (a.k.a. Dave). These guys were available as resources to answer specific questions on all areas of modeling and military information.

Congrats to the AGE participants, as their models are very very impressive. Good luck to all in the voting, -- in my opinion, they are all winners.

Wow, those were fantastic beginner models. It would be nice to know a little about the builders when the awards are handed out.

For example: Jeep created by Joe Schmoe, Age 13 from XX state, yy country

If it's possible. There are only 13 entries. I think it would be nice.

maybe it should be possible to view the gallery of images? I mean some photos only show part of the model, or a shot that the builder may not like.....

Only 13 made it?? Geez... I thought 20 or more signed up for this. BTW, I wish you could put the voting poll on the home page. This way, eveyone can see it.

Here's the gallery with all the pics submiited. Well done to everyone who took part, and a huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the campaign.

Of course, the greatest plaudits go to Steve, who was truly inspirational in keeping Age #1 on course. He's set a standard that future campaign leaders will be hard pressed to match!

All the best

There is a link already on the voting page to the gallery.

There is a paragraph on the homepage of the site (default focus) that has been there since the day voting started.

Me too...missed the voting window. Tired old eyes...lol
But what I saw when I viewed the entries were a joy to behold with any eyes...the entries are a credit to their makers. A very high standard....better than mine, all of them.
Well done everyone.

Cheers

I don't know why either, but it was all over before I even seen it, I was mistaken, see I thought there was another month left,on the voting, and now that I look and see the others say they missed the voting window, then I look at the calendar, wow it is over, sorry for not seeing it in time.
Looks like you guys had a real hard time picking a winner with all that talent, if they are putting out this good now, what are they going to be doing later.
