Hey Folks,
I'm currently building Dragons 6700 Mid Tiger and the Kit features PE Parts for
the spare track mounts which were added next to the Drivers vision block and the MG ball mount on the front.
Sadly though, the instructions don't offer enough details as to how track holders were mounted to the tank or how they were shaped. If anyone can help out on that topic and can provide some detailed images it would be of huge help!

Cheers,
Steve

This looks like a metal hook that grabs the track pin.

These are upright metal bars that hold the tracks up.

Looks like the same holders as on the turret off the Tiger II off the kit that Revell released some time ago.
There are such holders also holding the spare track links in place.
Maybe you can use that as an example?

Hey Folks,
thank you all for the pictures, they do clear things up.
I'll have to do some rework now, as the dragon PE Parts don't really work.
Here is picture of them. I was taking it to show the cloth but it also shows the Mounts.

Best,
Steven

Wayne, thanks for posting this pic. Ive been wanting to do a fuel tank build on a Tiger and have looked for a reference pic like that before. Any chance you have more on how fastened? wood frame maybe?

The stacking of fuel on Tigers 241 and 243 was a really unusual event and I can't think of any other examples.

They were a version of Tiger that no kit builds.

This detail photo of 243 suggests they were held on with wire. I can't see any frame etc.

To be honest, the track holders look like the ones from Dragons Panther G that were on the turret. They were probably hand made and not an ordered item.
