My recommendation below requires that you have internet access and a home printer.

I would like to recommend that you reconsider setting up a PayPal account and / or an account with the USPS. By accepting PayPal, you limit any exposure to yourself of handling cash, checks, or money orders sent to you and most people may not want to or even be able to run out to get a money order to send to you. Accepting PayPal limits their exposure, too.

PayPal has a relationship with the USPS and you can create shipping labels right from home using PayPal for transactions sent to you. You then need only print and put the shipping label on the box and have your mail carrier take the package from your home, so no need to run to your local post office.

If you still decide not to accept PayPal, you can get accurate cost estimates from the USPS website. By creating a free account with the USPS, you can then purchase and print shipping labels at home and have the mail carrier take the package for you. Again, no need to expose yourself to others.

While Covid-19 is definitely disrupting so many of the normal ways of life that we are accustomed, there are still ways to adapt.

Thanks for the reply John! No, I can't do $30 shipped even without a shipping quote. When things settle down I'll get a price based on your zip code and we'll go from there.
How's that?

Take care, be safe, stay home. You went above and beyond in this crisis... no need to roll the dice with your health or that of your family... especially at their advanced age.

God Bless.

Here's an idea..... If you see something you'd like let me know and I'll put it on hold for you. When they get a handle on the situation we can do business again !

Hey everybody I'm suspending sales until the COVID19 hopefully blows over. It's like playing Russian Roulette every time I stand in line at the Post Office. If I were the only person to get sick that would be one thing. But I bring it home and unknowingly infect all my loved ones. Can't take the chance!
Thanks to all who got some good deals. I wish postage wasn't such a killer. Coulda moved a lot more kits !

Thanks for the interest guys!
All correspondence current as of 3/20.

A heads up, I will be spending more time at the parents (no computer/internet) and less time at home. So my responses will be basically the weekends. Sorry! But, this is the new world we are living in now.
Stay healthy everybody !

Yep Kevin, shipping has become totally outrageous. From what I understand the USPS, by law, must operate in the "black" unlike other Federal Government departments. If I'm wrong somebody PLEASE correct me ! I'd rather pay up front than see a multi, multi billion dollar bail out further down the road.
There are a couple of shows in a few weeks, Madison & N. Illinois that I'm thinking about selling at.

Glad you're a happy camper Ted ! ENJOY !!!
Everybody else who shot me a PM I will respond later on. I just got in from the folks and need a little ME time !
