Well you need something to do when you are stuck at home, quarantined or avoiding Covid, and unable to go out.

So. We are going further. All is wrong with driver's cabin. Fist of all there was a slope before vertical armor plate. There wasn't any hinge before it. It was something that holds rubber canvas. My variant of the slope is too sharp. I will fix it later with canvas.
The visor in the kit is too small, I have made my variant. L-shaped holder is not fixed yet. And I need to ad dozen rivets and nuts and fix some moment which are not strait.
You can see it on photos with arrows. Sad. More work to come. Now we modelers have much time for it.

First two photos have been taken from Terry Ashley and PMMS. For reference.

Please be healthy and stay home.

Yes Artyom we all have plenty more time for modelmaking & you’re making good progress here. It’s beginning to look like when it is finished there will be nothing remaining from the original kit! Do you think it would have been easier to completely scratchbuild it?! Be healthy yourself too

Hi,Tim! Unfortunately you are right. Almost all details were upgraded. Definitely this is the hardest my project by this time.
I think I have no such skills to do all by myself or maybe it's just a psychological problem and I only need a fulcrum.

Greetings to all! I hope all of you are fine and healthy.

Unfortunately I have lack of time to work with model. Last thing I have done was rubber canvas for drive's cabin. There were two stages. First with Tamiya's putty. Second one with aluminium foil. I tried to compare result with photos from Bovington.

Sensational Artyom. Almost as if a full scratch build would have been better!

You are too kind Peter! Thank you! Aluminium foil is quite delicate material.

Greetings, friends! I work very slow, but I have already good results. I have to make new hinges and fenders holders in front with putty. Not an easy thing to do. This is only the beginning. Also I've made front shelves.

Glad to see you’re keeping well - nice holders, I might have tried making them from thick triangular pieces of plastic card and a short section of plastic rod on top, but yours look fine & the hinges are also effective. I hope progress is a bit faster though, otherwise I’ll be a very old man before you’ve finished!

Hi, Tim! Thank you! I am glad too. I've suggested that it will be easier for me to use putty. I satisfied with this work and it is a realy rare phenomenon

Still working with front. Now it's turn for the front light. Unfortunately the light case has one mistake. I've decided to leave it. This is not final variant.

Greetings, friends! I've started work I always hated =)) Yes, track links in progress. They consist of two parts. Plastic is hard and doesn't glue well. I work with great patience. In comparison tracks for Renault R-35 from Modelkasten. Renault is really smaller than A13 but tracks has similar dimensions. After all of that I will continue to make details on upper hull.

Top-quality hinges on the top plate Artyom, even if they don’t work they look like they should! And the tracks seem to fit perfectly round the drive wheel, that’s one less problem. What’s the error on the headlight box? Looking forward to seeing more hull progress

Hello,Tim! Good to hear you! It took time to do all well (hinges and the tracks initial work) Headlight has incorrect angles and too narrow. My variant is better but also has mistake. It seem to me that angle between lower and upper plates is wrong.

Greetings to all!

Bronco trucks are real garbage. I am very disappointed about that. It is very difficult to glue them. I think it's because of thick plastic. It was difficult to make the tension simulation typical of the A13. And Yes, the Bronco puts 4 sprues with tracks. One side takes two. So I have only three tracks left after assembling the chain. So if you lose or ruin some of them, there will be problems. In addition, the tracks are incorrect. The comb should be hollow.

The hang on the tracks is really well done Artyom. They may have been a trial to deal with, but I believe it is better than the alternative- other modellers reported the kit vinyl tracks are too tight to fit!

The v shaped guide horns would have meant moulding them all separate to the pad for attachment later, which by the sounds of it, would be a problem in itself. Also it was not done much back then. The open guide horn is also probably why Fruil never made a set for the A13.

I can appreciate that drilling them out, then trimming with a knife was not an option for you... you would get old before you got to the last link.

Then again, I once drilled and trimmed out the early Dragon Panther track guide horns - my friends still make fun of me for that.

Hi Peter! I really satisfied with the result. No matter how many efforts had been done. And I perfectly understand why there are no such tracks in metall and resin. You are right - too difficult, too small and the main thing I think - small demand.
Maybe 5-10 years ago I've tried to drill out all tracks. But when you grow up you getting lazy.
But 10 years ago T-35 tracks made me a legend in Russia. I driller every Friulmodel track and put there split pin from 0,15mm wire.
Friends still remember that like yours.
