He Guys I'm doing something a little different this time, I wasn't going to post anymore, but it's hard to resist.
Here I'// be using the Live Resin 30mm. Turret to up gun Mengs Tiger kit.

The Xact kit is a lot more detailed this is a curb side kit

although the front wheels are positionable.

I think the instruments look nice like this , most likely not accurate but hey ?

Here are the Live Resin parts, you have to go to there web site to get the instructions. I had a hell of a time finding them.

I'm finished for a while.

I have the Turret assembled , here is partially how I did it.
I had a lot more Pics. but my camera screwed up, hey ok I screwed it up.
The first pic shows the ring support for the Gun.

Note the 3 dents close together, that is where the Front Armor goes.
The side Gun supports have a smaller edge that goes to the front.

You should dry fit the 3 sides together , make shure the mounting holes will take the pins.
This is the bottom view.

Hold all the sides together and when satisfied with the fit, Glue them together.

Make shure you don't install any of the Guns especially the Mg. until the sides are together .

I replaced the Antenna with a piece of Brass Wire.
The set includes a Monitor Screen and Control stick but where they go ????

The Mount ring gets centered in the top opening.

There are a few small details that need to be removed to clear the Turret.

I'll try not to mess this up to much more.

I built this a while ago, the resin turret is a nice little kit with two gun options.

A little more done here's the M Hood installed.
You need to bevel the edges a little to get it to sit flush.

Don't forget to line up the place where the hood on the real one would open up.

I removed the mounts for the Ammo racks. With a 30mm Gun in the turret They aren't needed.

That's all for now.

I have some more added.
After assembling the doors I masked off the Clear parts on the Doors
Blue for the outside and tan for the inside, this was to keep me from getting confused Hey I'm old not stupid.

Added the small parts to the inside of the roof.

Painted the inside of the Doors Black

Here I installed the front Window Frames without the clear parts, they'll be added after painting.

Then I Glued the Doors in.

There are no hinges provided for the front doors.

With this kit they just get glued along the front edge of the door to the Body, this is not right, See next batch of Pics.

There's a size difference between the 2 kits also , the Meng kit is longer.
Which is right ????

Another issue, The Meng Kit is what is called A curb side kit, in other words there's no engine just what you would normally see from the bottom while the Xact kit has everything.

Well that's all for now, I'll finish this thing( Don't really like it)
I'm looking forward to doing I build on Mengs Sherman which I have coming
Good By for now.

Well here's another one finished.
I don't really didn't care for this kit,
If you really want a Russian Tiger and can find it I would get the Xact Kit it's a lot more detailed.
Tha Live Resin parts are great.

Regards.
