I am using another technic in this Phase: I am mixed painting with pre-weathering, why?, because I needed treat the tracks and background before of cover them with the side skirts. fine and medium marble powder + water + white gum (Resistol 800) and airbrushing with Vallejo-Model Air, Flat-brown #71026.

More updates:

Now I applied RAL 8017 Schokobraun (A.MIG-15), but the color base was remained below and sides of the chassis (RAL 7028 (A.MIG-010) Dunkelgelb), wheels painted with RAL 6003 Olivgrün (a:mig-002), all mixed with 30% Acrylic Thinner (AMMO/MIG) 70% of Paint. ready for the next step: Camouflage.

Added details as tool (painted with New Wood - A.MIG-0037), anntenae (Metal - Humbrol #56), Machine gun painted with Humbrol Gun-metal #8189 (Metalcote) and Track-links (painted: Dark-track - A.MIG-35 and finished with drybrush Humbrol, Polished Aluminium) - Hatches with Interior Cremeweiss RAL-9001 - A.MIG-35), Periscopes painted with: Crystal Periscope Green - A.MIG-096.

Decals ready!, I used Humbrol DecalFix, it works excellent!. In the instruction sheet, the 2nd. mark I added on the rear it have the half the size of the one that applies to the model. The marks are from the 665th Infantry Division, Bologna (Italy), February 1945.

More updates:

Starting the weathering using Humbrol, Black-matt # 33 very diluted with AMMO / mig, Enamel Odourless Thinner (A.MIG-2019) - the excess is dragged down with a clean brush and moistened with thinner.

not to be too critical of your lovely looking half track,but the gunner's seat looks like it is on the wrong side of the gun mount,or is it just that I've had a bit too much medication.

Stuart, the seats are two. What you see in the photos is for the loader. The gunner's seat is behind the cannon.

Mission acomplished, more pics!.

Finished with: 1).- I added earth using white glue and over it dust marble in wheels, low areas of the front, back and side-skirts. 2)- Airbrushed with Flat-earth Tam iya #XF-52 in the same areas and a little weathering with airbrush over all the model. 3).- Dry brush in tracks (Humbrol, Polished Steel #27003), and the following with Humbrol, Metal #056, screws, metal box, handles, support of side-kirts and lateral plates front and rear. 4).- Oil (Hobby Color #H342) in the screws of the wheels and sprocket wheels. 5).- Mufler MIG using pigments mixing Standard Rust (#P025) and Old Rust (#P230) and for the gun barrel Gun Metal (#P231). 6).- Finally a coat airbrushing with AMMO/mig - Ultra-matt, Lucky Varnish.
