though already posted elswhere on this site, I guess here my question will be answered sooner!
Does anybody know if there was some sort of recognition for the various ground crew functions in the USAAF in the UK during WW2? I refer to the way it is done on the US aircraft carriers nowadays, where you can see blue, pink, green shirts.
I am working on a USAAF marshaller and his jeep.

No, they all wore standard US Army uniforms. Remember, the Army Air Corps was part of the US Army at that time. Ground crewmen did not, and still don't (in the USAF) wear any different uniforms.
