Hello, I was wondering if a William Atwell is a member on this site? In the James Lyles book,"Gun Trucks in Vietnam, Have guns will Travel" there is a picture of the guntruck model, Mafia Operated on page 72. This was the truck in my unit, ER2, in 1972. I would like to find out where he got his info on the truck and if he has any other on it. Thanks, Wayne

Hello all, it's been a while since I posted this, so I thought I'd bump it up in case any one has any info on him. Thanks, Wayne

You might try: http://www.vietnam-guntrucks.com/
I met several members back a bunch of years and they seem a tight-knit bunch. Someone on that site might know the guy you're looking for.

When I contacted James Lyle, the author of the books, he seemed to think that he was just the model builder and had a few pictured in both the second and third books in the series. Dave "Animal" Willet also had some of his included. The caption under one of the pics said he was from North Carolina. Wayne
