IBG Models has release another exciting variant of the Bedford with the QLR Wireless, here Kevin Brant takes a look in the box.

Thanks, Kevin, for a fine review. It's good to see more Allied softskins, but it seems the AM companies, especially PE, don't bother with these kits. I hope that will change.

Unfortunately there is a minor omission on this kit

Look at the two body sides. The right hand side is missing the little boxes for the window blinds above the windows. Two minutes work to replace, particularly as, for some reason, the strip running along the top has already rebated to fit them. Just a case of ensuring that they match the boxes on the other side.

Might also be worthwhile checking your references. This body is of the first type which may have been replaced by a later type by the time QLs with hip rings and mudguard strengthening were being produced.
