This year on July 5th the Museum launched what is to become an annual WWII reenactment event starring the S-160 and a loaded military supply train.

Hello all.

I post this simply as information for all interested parties:

There may now be serious movement on the horizon out of Commander Models as to the eventual delivery of their S-160 resin model in 1/35th scale - Stay tuned and start saving your pennies!

And dat's all I gots to say bout dat! (For now!)

Hi - I rarely post but read/watch often. I followed this thread for quite awhile waiting to see if an American war loco in 1/35th scale would be made available (just because I want one). Does anyone know for real whether the S160 from Commander Models will really come out? After years of waiting, I am seriously considering doing one in CAD and then as a Resin kit (just because I want one ha ha). I design mostly railway artillery models which are the subject of some kits made by a friend (Panzer Concepts) and have several US guns in the works as well. I want to do a standard steam loco as well as a 0-4-4-0 Whitcomb Diesel for pulling them. If the master parts are available we could also consider actually producing the one in the thread if its not going to become reality. Best regards - Greg

Start the cad design right away.
If panzer concepts will cast it it will be a fantastic kit.
I got his Bruno railgun, it’s probably the best resin kit i have ever built (well, started to build)

I would buy one right away.
It would be nice with some flat cars too.
